Of high thighed form with articulating cuisse and side wrap plate, our 15th/16th century leg armour is of 16 gauge mild steel construction throughout with hand rolled and counter sunk edges at top, bottom and wing plate on the knee and bevelled edges for better delfection of blows on articulating plate edges. Slot riveted articulation throughout and fully strapped. As seen on the cover art by Nathan Greene for "Pilgrims Progress II". HAND MADE IN THE USA.
These can be made in steel finish ( steel rivets and buckles rather than brass) at no extra charge, just specify when ordering. Also avaliable with ropped borders which became fashionable in the 16th century.
