Maximillian Close Helmet



This wonderfull example of late Maximillian armour is a fine example of the quality of work being done. No detail has been missed on this excellent helmet dating to the 1540's. The decorative motiff is very unusual and the harness this helm went with must have been an eyecatcher. All the original lining rivets are in place and the helmet retains a fair amount of its original lining leathers as well. A stunning piece!
