17th Century Arm Assembly



This is a right arm complete with pauldron froma 17th century currassiers armour. At some point in its history this piece has been treated rather roughly and very old, possibly pre 19th century, repairs are present. Orginally russetted it was painted flat black probably during the Victorian period. Brass rivet decoration common on 17th century cavaly armour is present. The arm rotates in a turner.
